These terms cover everything sold through this store. By placing an order you agree to them.

What we make

Records engraved to order into anodized aluminium, from a photograph and the details you type. Because each one is personalised, it is made only for you and cannot be resold.

Your order, and when it is accepted

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we email you the portrait proof. If we cannot make your record — a photograph too small to engrave, a line too long for the card, or anything we are not willing to cut — we will tell you and refund you in full rather than produce something worse than what you asked for.

We engrave exactly what you type

Spelling, capitalisation and wording are reproduced as entered, including mistakes. This is deliberate: found on Route 33 and unknown are real answers and we will not tidy them into something else. The proof exists so you can catch anything you did not mean. Once you approve the proof, the wording is settled.

The photograph you upload

You confirm you have the right to use the photograph you send us. You give us permission to use it for one purpose only — producing your engraving — and we delete it once your record has shipped. We do not run facial recognition on it, train anything with it, or sell or license it. We will not use it to advertise the shop without asking you first, in writing, about that specific photograph.

What we will not engrave

Anything unlawful, anything that infringes someone else’s rights, and anything hateful. If we decline on those grounds we refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes and shipping are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed by Shopify; we never see your full card details.

Refunds

Set out in full in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: unlimited changes before anything is cut, a remake if it does not look like them, and a full refund within thirty days of delivery for any reason, without returning the record.

Liability

Our liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
